Making
the world's finest cigar is a life
long goal of the Martinez & Santana
partnership.
The story begins
in 1844, the struggle for
independence in the Dominican
Republic. Lead by the Great
General Pedro Santana,
a leader of men, and the
grower of the finest quality
tobacco in the Dominican
Republic - frees the people
from the holds of Haiti.
With their heritage's deeply
rooted in the Dominican
Republic.
Known for its old Spanish ruins, palm-lined beaches, tobacco, and Latin
lifestyle, the Dominican Republic is the second largest nation in the
Caribbean Sea. Although parts of the country have been developed for
the tourist market, much remains untouched, unspoiled, and virtually
unvisited. The Dominican Republic offers the highest mountain in the
Caribbean, the authentic Spanish atmosphere of Old Santo Domingo, the
vast plains of sugarcane, white sand beaches, and of course the finest
tobaccos of the world
Making the world's finest cigar is a life long goal of the Martinez Santana
Cigar Company. Each cigar uses only the finest of specially blended and
aged tobacco from the premier growing region of the Dominican Republic.
The tobacco is then wrapped in a timely aged wrapper and skillfully hand
rolled to produce a cigar that the Company calls its own.
Martinez Santana takes great pride in introducing their own.
